17 more days.....

I decided to start a blog in order to document the everyday moments that I hope to remember so I can share with our child or hopefully our children in the future.  Each day there is something that happens that I would love to remember yet I do not always get around to writing it in the baby book or capturing it on film.  It is also an easy way for me to get my thoughts on paper.  So here I go......

I can't believe that in 17 more days my baby boy will be 2!  It has been amazing to watch him change and grow over these last two years.  He is definitely starting to develop his own little personality and independence.  He constantly keeps us on our toes and is constantly on the go.  It is amazing to look back at his newborn pictures and to see how much he has changed.  How could he have gone from this....

We are busy at our house planning his 2nd birthday party.  We are going with an airplane theme as this little boy is obsessed with the planes in the sky.  Everytime he hears one he needs to point it out.  I found the best invites on Etsy that have directed me towards our theme for the day and will post more on that and the days events after all is said and done.

We are also busy getting ready to re-do our landscaping.  Yes we did only purchase our house 3 years ago and have the sod put in 2 years ago.  But the people who did it the first time did a terrible job in preparing the ground so we are trying it again.  Will hopefully post pics when all is said and done.

Other than that we are just looking forward to summer and sunshine.  We have a few trips planned during the summer months but hope to enjoy most of our time at home or with friends & family.  I have a feeling with baby boy we will be outside from sun up to sun down.
