The Perfect Pumpkin....

Last Saturday we ventured out to Afton Orchard to pick out the perfect pumpkin for halloween.  Hudson was so excited about all of the orange, ran right over to a bunch of pumpkins, going from one to the other screaming "orange".  That is his favorite color :)

After a bit we were able to convince Hudson to take the hay ride out to the pumpkin patches.  He loved watching the tractor pulling the trailor but he was a little hesitant about going for a ride.  Once we arrived at the pumpkin patch, we were on a mission to find the perfect pumpkin.....

Baseball party

Hudson's friend Ethan celebrated his 2nd birthday with a baseball themed party.  Lorrie decided to have the party earlier in October so hopefully there would be some nicer weather.  The morning started out dreary and cold but luckily by party time the sun appeared and it warm up a bit.  We started out with a walk to the baseball field to swing the bat, hit the ball, and run the bases.

I have been really behind on the blog as first Hudson was battling a cold virus and now I have been battling it for the past few weeks.  Oh the joys of colder weather.....

We are really lucky to live so close to both of our immediate families.  My parents are in AV, so it is only about 40 minutes from our house.  My mom usually takes Hudson on Monday's as she is off of work and a lot of time on the weekends we will spend time up there.  Here are some pics from a couple weekends ago when we were enjoying a nice fall day.....

Since I am the one who usually has the camera, I do not have a lot of pictures of Hudson & I.  Luckily my mom and dad were able to catch a few on this beautiful fall day.

Zoo adventure

Last weekend was another beautiful fall day in MN so we made the best of it and headed over to the MN Zoo in the morning for a few hours.  First stop was the penguin exhibit, one of Hudson's favorite animals :)

Tractor's are one of Hudson's favorite things.  Everytime he sees one, he gets really excited and starts screaming :)  Of course the zoo has one at the farm but Hudson would never sit on it.......

Here are some pics of my baby boy.  He is so much fun to watch and loves to entertain everyone.  He is definitely starting to become his own little person and yes we have experienced some of the terrible twos, but overall he is my sweet little boy.
