What did you do on your birthday? We went to MOA for rides on Friday.  Saturday we had a bowling party with our friends mid-morning and then family came over that night for a party.

Happy 4th Birthday Hudson!

We started our birthday weekend celebration on Friday with a trip to MOA for some rides and shopping.  Hudson also brought some of his birthday money to buy a new toy at Marshall's (his favorite store).  We had a birthday lunch at Red Robin then headed home for a little nap.

Saturday we headed over to Brunswick bowl in Lakeville for some cosmic bowling with our friends.  Unfortunately, two of our buddies were not able to make it but luckily Josie and Ella were able to come for some fun!

Hudson was being a stinker about pictures so I never really got any good shots of just him :(

We had two lanes already reserved for a our party when we arrived, along with balloons and birthday decor!

Party was a lot of fun!  They had a DJ who would start up various activities such as limbo.  We had pizza and soda for lunch and then ended with delicious cupcakes from the Cannon Falls Bakery!

After our morning party we headed home for a little nap before the family came over.  Once they arrived we enjoyed the beautiful weather outside for a bit before a dinner of Hudson's choice, which included sloppy joe's, strawberries and cool whip, carrots with dip, pickles and olives, and chips.

Once again Hudson was spoiled with all sorts of gifts which included Buzz Lightyear and Woody, more lego sets, a bobcat and forklift, Uno Moo game, a sprinkler, new Lightening McQueen suitcase, and of course our tractor!

Happy 4th Birthday Baby Boy!  We love you and your stubborn personality ;)

9 months!

April 29th Miss Mila Gracie (as Hudson calls her) turned 9 months!  We had our 9 month check up today, she weighed in at 14 lbs 9 oz and measured just 25 inches.  She is definitely a little peanut!  What we have been up to this past month......

1.  Sleeping, yep still sporadic!  Last night she woke up 3 times, giving me a few 3+ hour stretches.  She has yet to sleep through the night, that will probably not happen anytime soon.  On average she is waking 2 to 4 times a night.

2.  She loves to eat!  So far she has been able to tolerate sweet potatoes, squash, pears, chunks of banana, some pieces of white potato and our newest adventure has been Kix cereal.  She loves being able to feed herself :)  She has not tolerated carrots or apples and she is not a fan of peaches.  I think next we will try some peas as this should be a good finger food for her.

3.  She is now up to 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.  I love how you can see her top teeth in this picture :) 

4.  Milestones this month, pulling herself up to her knees.  She also loves to stand and has stood a couple times by herself for a couple seconds.  Crawling, no real progress there.  She will get up on all fours and then she sits back down. 

5.  Chatty one she is.  So far we have heard ba-ba, ma-ma, da-da sounds.  Some days when I pick her up from daycare she just goes on and on, telling me all about her day in her own language :)

Can't believe how fast these last 9 months have gone!!!  A whole lot faster than 9 months of being pregnant ;)  It was crazy scheduling her one year appointment today at the doctor.  Looking forward to seeing what this next month will bring.  Who knows, maybe a little more sleep ;)
